Bridget Chatman brings 30 years of experience in Federal Civil Business Development and Strategy with emphasis in the aviation and aerospace industry to SAIC. She currently leads the effort in identifying, developing and capturing strategic growth opportunities for SAIC’s NASA/NOAA/FAA portfolio. She consults and give guidance about services and solutions in Science, Engineering and Information Technology to her valued customers. Bridget is highly decorated with CEO awards, President’s awards, and many accolades from company executives and senior industry leaders for her commitment to excellence and customer mission focus.
Bridget started her career in Account Management with IBM in Chicago in 1984 and over the years have worked in senior leadership roles at Raytheon managing the aerospace portfolio and small businesses to develop their Federal practice. Her responsibilities included the business profit and loss, as well as, managing a team of business development and capture managers.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and Statistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Masters Studies in Economics from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom; also, holds a Spanish Certificate from the Forrester Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Further recognized for her leadership, Bridget is an active leader in SAIC’s National Women’s Resource Group. An organization developed to encourage, educate and mentor women in all phases of their career. In addition, Bridget work on women’s and girl’s initiatives in Western Africa to expose more students to STEM education.
