Entrepreneurship: Revolutionizing National Security Operations
June 1, 2017
Advances in technology and increased reliance on information technology are changing our way of life and the “art of the possible” in the conduct of our Government’s national security missions. From the Internet of Things and big data, to artificial intelligence, new threats to US space assets, and semi-autonomous weapons systems, the world in which military and intelligence operations will be conducted will change profoundly. The Government’s pressing need to take advantage of private sector/venture capital investments to retain our technical superiority has spawned new mechanisms—DIUx, SCO—to find solutions, fail fast and accelerate incorporation of capability that can change the game.
In this session, thought leaders from the government and the private sector will explore key technology advances, their impact on military and intelligence missions, and strategies to move ideas to operational capability.
Location
Residence Inn Marriott Arlington Pentagon City
