Lynn Cline (left) received the 2009 Outstanding Member Award presented by Debra Facktor Lepore, President of DFL Space LLC and 2009 Chair of the WIA Board of Directors. Ms. Cline is the deputy associate administrator of NASA Space Operations Mission Directorate and founding member of WIA.
Dr. Valerie Neal (right) received the 2009 Aerospace Educator Award presented by Dr. Regina Dugan, Director of the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Dr. Neal is the curator of the Space History Division of the National Air and Space Museum.
Eleanor Aldrich (right) received the 2009 Aerospace Awareness Award presented by Maj. Gen. Ellen Pawlikowski, USAF, Deputy Director of the National Reconnaissance Office, U.S. Department of Defense. Ms. Aldrich is a consultant to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Rebecca Emerle (left) received the 2009 Achievement Award presented by Dr. Laurie Leshin, Deputy Director for Science & Technology, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Ms. Emerle is a senior electrical engineer at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corporation.
Beverly Seay (right) received the 2009 Leadership Award presented by Deborah Alderson, President of SAIC's Defense Solutions Group. Ms. Seay is senior vice president and business unit general manager at SAIC.
Melinda Ann Burkhart Tate (left) received the 2009 International Award presented by Maj. Gen. Richard E. Perraut, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs, in the Office of the Under Secretary of the Air Force. Ms. Burkhart Tate is the chief of the Strategic Technologies Branch in the Office of the Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force for International Affairs.
Dr. Linda Billings (left), received the 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Lori Garver, Deputy Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Dr. Billings is a research professor and principal organization investigator at The George Washington Unversity School of Media and Public Affairs and principal investigator, NASA's Astrobiology program.
