With close to fifteen years' experience in defense and aerospace acquisition strategy development, candidate screening, and business due diligence, Daryle E. Lademan leads the Commercial Aerospace Practice of The Avascent Group (formerly DFI Corporate Services). Prior to joining DFI, Daryle worked as an analyst for CSP Associates, Inc., a Cambridge, MA-based consulting firm specializing in strategic and transaction advisory services in defense, aerospace, and other high technology markets. While at CSP, she conducted policy assessments on broad range of issues impacting the defense, aviation, space, and telecommunications sectors, from export controls to acquisition reform to anti-trust laws. Daryle was also an integral part of CSP's due diligence practice, supporting numerous transactions involving defense and commercial aerospace firms.
Among other assignments, Daryle has performed due diligence activities on behalf of both strategic and financial buyers on a variety of firms active in the following areas: commercial aerostructures; military and commercial aircraft engines; defense electronics; military ground vehicles; government technical services; explosive detection systems; military shelters; ordnance and munitions; and many other markets. In addition to more pure play due diligence assignments, she has played a leading role in the development of an acquisition strategy for a major aerospace engine manufacturer and has helped a domestic defense materiel supplier to formulate a business plan and organizational strategy for a dedicated defense service offering.
Daryle has particularly strong expertise in commercial aircraft and aviation markets as a consequence of her due diligence experience. Her knowledge base covers a range of operational, financial and regulatory issues impacting commercial aircraft suppliers and operators, from major airlines to fractional ownership firms and other general aviation users.
Prior to joining CSP, Daryle served as a research associate at the Space Policy Institute, conducting research and analysis on a variety of space policy issues, including civil-military integration, technology transfer, international cooperation, and issues specific to human spaceflight. Daryle is a 1993 alumnus of the International Space University's summer professional development program and also served as a Teaching and Design Project Assistant at the multidisciplinary, multi-cultural school.
As a NASA Space Grant Graduate Fellowship recipient, Daryle earned an M.A. in Science, Technology and Public Policy from The George Washington University. She also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida.
Daryle is active in several professional development organizations and currently serves as the Vice President for Membership of Women in Aerospace.
