Biography
Linda Karanian
Lockheed Martin Corporation
Linda is Director of Human Space Flight Program Operations in Lockheed Martin's Washington Operations Office.In this capacity, she serves as Lockheed Martin's primary interface with NASA Headquarters for Space Exploration programs. She also supports Lockheed Martin Government Affairs activities in promoting NASA Human Space Flight programs on Capitol Hill. Prior to her current position, Linda was Director of Business Development for Lockheed Martin's Advanced Space Transportation Systems in Denver, CO. She began her career with Lockheed Martin in 1978 as a Mechanical Engineer, providing management and leadership in the design and analysis of spacecraft systems for the DoD and NASA. Linda has been an active member of Lockheed Martin's Diversity Council and serves as the NASA Center Liaison for the Coalition for Space Exploration. She received her B.S. Degree in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and has participated in leadership studies through Lockheed Martin's Executive Development program.
