Rebecca Griffin
Rebecca has marketed to the federal aerospace community for over 20 years. She left the Unisys U.S. Federal Government Group as Director, DoD Business Development in 2002 on leave of absence for family reasons. Prior to her tenure at Unisys she was Director, Aerospace Accounts, covering NASA and the Air Force for Northrop Grumman (previously Litton PRC) for eight years. Before joining PRC she was employed by Hughes, Fairchild, EER, and Ideas, where her primary responsibility was NASA marketing.
Since the 1980s she has been a member and officer of several different space related associations including The National Space Club; American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National Space Society, American Astronautical Society, Maryland Space Business Roundtable and Women In Aerospace. She is an Associate Fellow of the AIAA, and was president of the AIAA National Capital Section for two terms in 1996-1998. Following her tenure as President, she led the AIAA/NCS effort to host the NASA 40th Anniversary celebration at the National Building Museum. After many years rotating through the officers positions, she became President of the National Space Club for the 2003-2004 club year, and is presently a member of the Executive Committee. This is her first year as a member of the Women In Aerospace Board of Directors.
