Membership WIA is funded primarily through Individual and Corporate membership dues, so ensuring a healthy membership base is critical for the success of the organization. The Membership Committee, led by the Vice President for Membership, explores ways to increase the number of new members and maintain current membership renewals. Cross-over participation from the Communications, Professional Development and Programs Committees is welcome, as it helps to ensure that WIA programs, communication and professional development are executed with membership attraction and retention in mind. Meetings will be held in person or by telecon on an as-needed basis several times a year. Goals for the committee include organizing an Individual membership drive, surveying the WIA membership and exploring unique partnership opportunities to increase membership.
