WIA Mission Women in Aerospace (WIA) is dedicated to expanding women's opportunities for leadership and increasing their visibility in the aerospace community. Our membership, women and men, shares an interest in a broad spectrum of aerospace issues, including human space flight, aviation, remote sensing, satellite communications, robotic space exploration, and the policy issues surrounding these fields. To facilitate discussion of issues facing women, as well as the aerospace industry as a whole, WIA organizes monthly programs in the Washington, DC area. Our member programming is geared towards audiences interested in a broad spectrum of aerospace issues, including human space flight, aviation, remote sensing, satellite communications, robotic space exploration, and the policy issues surrounding these fields. Featured speakers include senior representatives of the Administration, Congress, and Industry, including scientists, educators, and international aerospace experts.
