Biography
Stephen Ganote Stephen is a Partner at Oliver Wyman, a leading international management consulting firm. Stephen leads OW’s Space practice and focuses on helping clients with strategic planning, organizational and operational efficiency and effectiveness. Stephen’s work is informed by 15 years of consulting experience and 10+ years of executive management experience in the space and communications industries. Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Mr. Ganote was a Managing Director at Avascent and leader of its space practice. Previous experience includes working with Booz & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton’s Aerospace & Defense practices, and business development and corporate strategy positions at Intelsat, the world’s largest provider of satellite communications services, at 360networks a global communications provider, and COMSAT Corporation. He began his career as a legislative assistant in the United States Senate, advising on business, trade and finance issues. Stephen earned an M.S. in International Trade and Finance from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, and a B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Duke University. He is the past President of the Washington Space Business Roundtable and currently serves on its Board of Directors. |
