Stephen Ganote Stephen Ganote, Partner, Oliver Wyman and Managing Director, Avascent
Stephen is a Partner at Oliver Wyman, a leading international managament consulting firm that recently acquire Avascent, where he continues to serve as Managing Director, supporting clients across the Aerospace & Defense industry - and leads Avascent’s Space practice. His work focuses on strategic planning, organizational and operational improvement, market analysis, and M & A - and is informed by 20+ years of consulting and executive management experience in the space, defense and communications industries. Prior to joining Avascent, Mr. Ganote was with Booz & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton’s Aerospace & Defense practices, where he advised leading private sector and government clients on strategy, market analysis, acquisitions, organizational structure and innovation. He previously held business development and corporate strategy positions at Intelsat, the world’s largest provider of satellite communications services, at 360networks a global communications provider, and COMSAT Corporation. He began his career as a legislative assistant in the United States Senate, advising on business, trade and finance issues. Stephen earned an M.S. in International Trade and Finance from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, and a B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Duke University. He is the past President of the Washington Space Business Roundtable and currently serves on its Board of Directors. |
