WIA Breakfast with Dr. Mica R. Endsley
WIA is pleased to host Dr. Mica R. Endsley, PhD, PE, Chief Scientist of the United States Air Force, for a special breakfast engagement on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 8:00am– 9:30 a.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City.
Spend a morning hearing first-hand about challenges and issues facing the Air Force and key priorities that lie ahead. Hear perspectives as it relates to future Air Force challenges in the Science and Technology as well as Research and Development areas. In addition, Dr. Endsley will draw on her rich and diverse background to give us a unique perspective on women in aerospace.
Dr. Mica R. Endsley is Chief Scientist of the U.S. Air Force, Washington, DC. She serves as the chief scientific adviser to the Chief of Staff and Secretary of the Air Force, and provides assessments on a wide range of scientific and technical issues affecting the Air Force mission. In this role she identifies and analyzes technical issues and brings them to attention of Air Force leaders, and interacts with other Air Staff principals, operational commanders, combatant commands, acquisition, and science and technology communities to address cross-organizational technical issues and solutions.
