Lynn Cline (left) received the 2009 Outstanding Member Award presented by Debra Facktor Lepore, President of DFL Space LLC and 2009 Chair of the WIA Board of Directors. Ms. Cline is the deputy associate administrator of NASA Space Operations Mission Directorate and founding member of WIA.

Dr. Valerie Neal (right) received the 2009 Aerospace Educator Award presented by Dr. Regina Dugan, Director of the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Dr. Neal is the curator of the Space History Division of the National Air and Space Museum.

Ms. Burkhart Tate is the chief of the Strategic Technologies Branch in the Office of the Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force for International Affairs.

Dr. Billings is a research professor and principal organization investigator at The George Washington Unversity School of Media and Public Affairs and principal investigator, NASA's Astrobiology program.
